Achieving my final goal: Cisco Live!

In Undergrad on East Carolina University, I came across Cisco Live.

Although I was of the main interest in journalism and mass media, I was familiar with lucrative opportunities in Raleigh-Durham, which are in various technology companies and I wanted to do a great job one day. Cisco was the second company I examined. The first thing I saw on the homepage was Cisco Live. I was intrigued by cooperation with the recommended companies of that year, pictures of various waiting, and how elementary, as it may sound, were phenomenal colors. I had no idea what this event was all about, but the entrance side was so invitation, I immediately knew I wanted to be part of this world!

When I joined Cisco as a technical consulting engineer in CX, Cisco Live was still on top of the mind. The first day of the opportunity to ask questions was my heading question: “How do you qualify for Live Cisco?” The answer I heard was unsatisfactory, which decided to find my way to this conference even more.

I found my opportunity when I came across a program of women from Cisco Executive Shadow Shadow, where I saw the types of executives I could shade. In my application video I was very deliberate and specifically I said, “I want to overshadow someone who is Heavyy involved in Cisco Live and travel to the conference with their team. If I cannot be paired with this execution, I will download my application and try again in the next round.

I became the first “shadow” of Heather Henderson Thomas, who recently became the director of the Marketing of Events, or as I would say to her, “Director of all Cisco Live!” Heather previously participated how the program could affect my career and experience in Cisco. Now that she was an executive, Heather assured me that it was fully prepared to play a role as a mentor and give me an unforgettable experience.

Oh, as she lured it promised!

During one of our two -week checks in the early PHASSES OF CISCO LIVE 2024 planning planning, Heather asked what I would eventually expect to get with her from my mentorship. I have learned long ago to be a direct open Aswareing questions. So I said, “I want to wait Cisco Live!” Her answer was, “You have it. Cisco Live! Personally is. I was excited!

As part of my dies while shading Heather, I was involved in creating and activating the FanCave Gamification Project project. This virtual experience allowed the evento evento to take into their Cisco Live application and take an interactive quiz that defined their personality with names such as “Posh Puppy”, fearless entertainer “or” Galactic Go-Getter. Then, on the basis of their results, they receive recommendations for activation in Vegas, from beautiful culinary possibilities to adventure activities to relaxing meetings – ours was something for everyone.

Initially, I expected to work only with a team that was going to be at the conference, but Heather encouraged me to immerse in an experience as if I were a guest. With the yellow access “employees” and the badge she gave me, I commit doubts! In the middle of this, another director of the events I had given me about a year ago gave me a daily bracelet in the exclusive IT management of the Space. My approach was really unlimited!

The speaker sessions I expected were authorizing and impressive. My favorite was the main session with the CEO Cisco, Chuck Robbins and Tom Brady. With my special approach, I was allowed to arrive early for Shadow Heather’s ASY team to live. Meeting and watching the work of the Affiliate production was Super Cool. I even got a chance to catch up with my favorite colleague from Cisco TV, who allowed me to stand with her to watch some interviews with the executive leadership of the executive leadership.

As an arena full of excited events, I stood in front of a series where every ELT member would sit. Before I knew it, they did their ways in their seats.

A short woman with a dark skin with dark hair and glasses wearing a t-shirt with a higher light skin with dark hair, a button shirt and a sports coat, the yellow-green light shines above both. When I took the rug of coffee, I looked up and saw Chuck Robbins cost less than three feet. Initially, I decided not to cross my Lyself, but the opportunity was too perfect to resist. He got a crowd that influenced him, nor was he in an interview with anyone – he was there. I knew I would regret too much benefits of this moment, so I introduced us Assasella, we shared and captured the moment. It was definitely icing on the cake of the whole experience.

Outside the conference itself, an opportunity that we are countless. My experience as the “first timer” was listed on the @wearecisco Instagram page and recording that was so fun! I have given the Maya great people I only when I only through WebEx, members of the leadership, old friends and new colleagues, and participated in amazing inclusive community activities and events. I even had the final experience of a concert visitor at the Cisco Live, where I received an exclusive bracelet to the Champions Club for great food and perfect view of Elton John.

Heather has been described as a “newcomer” in the WOC Global Executive Shadow Shadow, but he recorded a “newcomer” about this experience. My expectations of Cisco Live have been overcome, just like my experience as a lie.

Options like these are just one of the many reasons why Cisco is a great place to work.
